In Memoriam

We  hold in our hearts, and our memories, those community members whose lives were lost — through addiction or taken because of toxic drug poisoning.

PARM PRITZ SANGHERA

PARM PRITZ SANGHERA

At 26, he was the oldest child, a son, a grandson, a brother, a cousin, a nephew: a man who loved his family and they, him. He was an older brother to a younger brother and sister. He was very protective of them, of his family, and of his friends.  He valued his relationships very highly and if a friend asked for help, he would drop everything to do so. He loved working with his hands . He was the guy everyone went to: to fix their phones and electronic items. He was studying to be a Machinist at BCIT . He was an amazing young man with great potential.

He loved music and wanted to write his own music.

Parm was a very passionate and loving human being.

The Sanghera’s, have donated a bench in his honour, at one of his favourite spots: Mill Pond, Dewdney Trunk Road, Mission.

Every August they run a BBQ for overdose awareness in his honor.   Please check our events page for more information about this.
