Alcohol Poisoning – Signs and What to Do
Know the warning signs and when to get emergency help.
Alcohol poisoning can happen when someone drinks more alcohol than their body can safely process and can become life-threatening very quickly.
Signs may include vomiting, confusion, seizures, being difficult or impossible to wake, very slow or irregular breathing, and pale or bluish skin. If alcohol poisoning is suspected, emergency medical attention is needed right away.

Free support for quitting or reducing tobacco and nicotine use.
QuitNow BC offers free support for people in British Columbia who want to quit or cut back on smoking, vaping, or other nicotine use.
The website provides quit-planning tools, information, coaching, and support by phone, text, and online.
B.C. residents may also be able to access free nicotine replacement therapy, including nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges, through the BC Smoking Cessation Program. You can visit your local pharmacy and speak with a pharmacist about your options.

Mission Youth Centre
A welcoming space for youth to connect, participate, and access support.
The Mission Youth Centre offers a variety of programs, activities, and events for youth throughout the week. Along with recreation and social opportunities, the center also works with counsellors and other community partners to help connect young people with additional supports and resources.
It provides youth with a safe place to build connections, try new activities, and learn about services available in the community.

Mission in Motion Mobile Youth Clinic
Free, confidential health and wellness support for youth in Mission.
Mission in Motion is a mobile youth clinic that provides young people with access to health care, mental health and substance use support, sexual health services, counselling, and referrals to other community resources.
The clinic is designed to make it easier for youth to get support in a welcoming and confidential environment, without having to navigate services on their own.
